The Wine: Chateau Miraval

Chateau Miraval Cotes de Provence Rose... Airy and balanced, it delicately combines great freshness and complexity, and develops saline and mineral notes. Miraval finishes with a long and intense elegance, the signature of a fine rosé. The grapes are harvested exclusively in the morning and sorted twice. Destemming. Pressurage direct’ for Cinsault, Grenache and Rolle. The Syrah is vinified partially using the "saignee" method. Vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats (95%) and in barrels (5%) with batonnage.

Renowned for his exceptional artistry and profound understanding of Japanese cuisine, Chef Isao Yoshimura brings an unparalleled level of skill and care to every culinary creation. Trained in the revered Edomae style, Chef Yoshimura seamlessly blends traditional techniques with contemporary sensibilities, a mastery honed through his work at the Michelin-starred Kosaka in Manhattan. He is celebrated for his exquisite sushi and sashimi, often sourced directly from his own fishing endeavors, and for his dedication to crafting unforgettable, intimate dining experiences. Chef Yoshimura's commitment to quality, from his meticulous selection of the finest ingredients to his innovative flavor profiles, ensures each dish is a testament to culinary perfection and a delight to the senses.
This fruity Rose is produced at the property owned by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie along with the Perin family of Chateauneuf-du-Pape. It is lightly spicy and full of friendly, crisp red fruits.
